Nine to Five (1980)

9 to 5, 1980. I need to think more about whether to put this movie on the 1970s board or create a 1980s one (with Working Girl, etc.) I love this movie. I loved watching it as a kid. I loved teaching it in my pop culture feminism class a few years ago.

The Bucket List (2007)

The Bucket List

'Vertigo', 1958 - Directed by Alfred Hitchcock, starring James Stewart & Kim Novak. For me, Vertigo resonates because of it's special Dali-esque visual effects, plus Bernard Herrmann's hauntingly beautiful score. Scotty (Stewart) pursues Madeleine-Judy (Novak) up until the tragic closing sequence of one of Hitchcock's greatest films.
