    roasted chicken in the crock pot - 1 chicken (3.5-4lbs), mix 2 tbsp paprika, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional), 1 1/2 tsp onion powder or 1 small onion, 2 tbsp garlic powder or 3 cloves garlic, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp blk pepper and add 1 tsp water as needed to make paste. Spray slow cooker with cooking spray, place chicken breast side up, coat chicken in & out w/paste. Cover & cook on low 6-7 hrs or 3.5-4.5 on high. Done when thickest part of thigh is 180degrees

Going to try this but modified. I don't have Herbs De Provence so I'm not sure what I will rub it with. I don't have red peppers so I'll layer the bottom with onion and carrots and stuff the bird with apples, carrots and onion. We'll see how it tastes.

1 lb chicken breasts 1 packet Italian dressing mix 2 Tbsp butter 1/4 cup lemon juice 1/4 cup chicken stock egg noodles or rice Place chicken breasts, Italian dressing mix, butter, lemon juice & chicken broth in the crockpot. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. When finished cooking, shred chicken with 2 forks. Serve chicken over egg noodles or rice and top with juices from crockpot.
