Pan-Fried Chicken Thighs

Either that's the world's heaviest cast iron, forged in the fires of Mordor, or the most daintiest chicken thighs ever...I'm not buying this... #sideeye
It's a Lodge Logic cast iron skillet, made in the USA. I appears to be a 10" skillet which I consider to be perfectly fine.
Lodge is the only way to go, mine looks just like that.
Tracie's comment has me in fits of giggles!
I've cooked chicken in the same way. It works pretty well! http://pinterest.com/pin/12...
lol @Tracie so true!
Cast Iron Scillet - No Grease - Hummmmm!
Lodge Logic Cast Iron is incredible for cooking! Ive even baked in mine!
Cast iron is the best pan to cook chicken in. Lodge is made in the USA, too. Take a page out if your great-grandparents book. (well at least mine cooked almost everything in cast iron)
Apparently David and Tracie didn't read the article. It clearly says to oil the pan, most of the cooking happens in the oven, and if it is a 10 in. skillet the thighs are about fisted sized which is quite common (at least in the USA).
Well, I tried it but right now I'm eating chicken without the skin so mine cooked too fast but once I adjusted the heat - It worked!!! I put it in the oven at the same temp though. Plus I used a lot of onion powder, garlic powder, thyme, & sea salt!!!
Crispy Cheddar Chicken...perhaps just what you need to go with that Mac N Cheese!

Pan-fry the panko-coated chicken cutlets until crisp and golden brown. Get the recipe for Crispy Chicken With Broccoli Coleslaw.
Pan-Fried Chicken is a healthy alternative to traditional fried chicken.
