Miniature eye portrait ring - circa 1800.

1800's mourning locket - I had eye portraits of my parents done so I could reduced images in lockets for my sister and eye. These lockets were my inspiration.

eye sea ewe. these portraits were exchanged with friends and sweethearts and were deliberately such a close-up that only someone who knew the person well would recognize the person in the portrait.
