This prayer shawl is made from a pattern shared with me by Kate Tinghitella in 2008. It uses left over Homespun yarn ( about 32 yds per square) and is called the Modular Knit Prayer Shawl. It is made all in 1 piece, no sewing the squares together.

My favorite stitch, Linen Stitch: Works on an even number of stitches. Row 1: *Knit 1, slip 1 with yarn in front. Repeat from * across, ending with a knit 1. Row 2: *Purl 1, slip 1 with yarn in back. Repeat from * across, ending with a purl 1. Repeat these two rows for pattern.

This is a 10 stitch Blanket which spirals till you run out of yarn. Good way to use up left over bits and pieces

Shawl of Gratitude. US #10. 5 balls Lion Brand Nature's Choice Organic Cotton: Almond (103 yds ea). CO 63 sts. Row 1: Knit 1, *purl 1, knit 1; repeat from * across. Row 2: Knit across. Repeat last 2 rows until almost all yarn has been used. Bind off.
