Lake McDonald, Montana, in Glacier National Park. The rocks are really that color. Many of the houses use these for fireplaces, fences, and mailbox stands. Wow--it looks as if the lake goes on and on forever. Those mountains are spectacular.

Glacier National Park, Montana ..... in November all the bald eagles migrate down from Canada on their winters journey south. They stop to feast on the salmon in MacDonald creek and Lake.

Montana--did my public health internship in Helena (a gazillion years ago) and remember driving home toward Michigan by myself along roads like these. Amazing feeling!

I have pinned this before - but I always smile when I see the pin come back around! This is truly one of the most amazing spots in the United States, where the waters traveling different directions come together at the Continental Divide, Glacier National Park, Montana.
