Replace seasonal plants!! (this method is used in many public gardens). Why didn't I think of this??

Easy planting tips... Simply "plant" a pot in the ground, take the same size pot and plant it, once planted drop that pot into the pot in the ground. When fall comes or when you are ready for a change, simply pull the plant and pot fro ground, replant the pot and drop back into the ground. A very quick and easy planting tip that only requires a hole to be dug once. Great for landscapes with rocks or wood chips. You don't have to worry about dirt getting in the rocks and making a mess.

My husband dreamed this one up. He broke the bottom out of ceramic pots planted tulip bulbs then in the summer we plant something else on top. Easy and clean to maintain in the Garden or like us along our front porch!

Stop Invasive Plants From Taking Over Your Garden

Cut the bottom off a plastic pot to contain invasive plants & bury in the ground. I have been doing this for a few years & works great for containing plants that tend to spread, but that I still want to plant in the garden. This also works good for planting a plant in an area that tends to get filled with roots etc. from other plants. I will use a larger pot so that the plant can spread it's roots and grow deeper roots, but keeps other tree roots from choking out the one I planted.

This is such a great idea! A neat way to keep your herb garden from getting a crazy. Really love it!
