Sensory tables. I can see making one table and then having a number of bins - cloud sand, colored rice, beans, water, etc. Just keep 'em stacked in the garage and switch out as desired. Cute idea for a water table too.

LOVE this sand & water table, but maybe it's even easier to make if I find a castoff coffee table & just cut out space for the containers?? AND, get extra containers for easy switch out when I don't want to use sand but want to store it for later.

Plan to make this...maybe. If I do, I want to make it taller for the kids to stand. I'd also like to make a water table. I know that Lowe's/Home Depot sell spigots that can be added to the bottom for drainage. Another tip, if you ask nicely, the stores may cut the PVC for you.

cute idea for a gardening theme(neater than dirt too).- black beans

The idea's cool and I'm really digging this table for outside. Wouldn't it be cool to make it different levels with different size/shape bins? I just can't be simple... Good luck with this one, hubby! xoxo
