When most think of Elizabeth Taylor they think of diamonds and then the color purple but her favorite color was actually yellow. She met Richard Burton while filming Cleopatra an had fond reminders of all the shades of yellow and golds from the film and her time falling in love with him. She married him in wearing a beautiful primrose-yellow dress, designed by Irene Sharaff, the costume designer for Cleopatra.
