DIY FLOATING COOLER $1.99! Measure sides of a plastic storage container (with a locking lid-just in case it gets tipped!). Cut a pool noodle into 4 pieces to fit each side. Thread some waterproof nylon rope (or whatever rope you have) thru the hole in noodle pieces. Place noodle float around container, pull rope tight & knot. Add a loop & knot it (this is so you have a little handle to pull it to you).Test in pool to make sure it floats & the noodle fit is correct. Fill with drinks & ice!
