This gave me an interesting idea: Wouldn't it be cool to hang a blank canvas, and everyone who comes over paints one thing on it..a flower, a quote, anything they want. And you keep doing it until the whole thing is full, no white space left. Then you'd have an amazing piece of art created together by all the ones you love. You could even do a small one and have it at a birthday party or a family Christmas. Definitely something I want to try.

These 5 tricks create a Visual Triangle. Starting at the top most point, you have your 1 big center piece, and then each side angles down with the addition of interesting accessories, resulting in a finished triangle = a beautiful decorated mantel.

Mount pictures in black and white as art for one wall. Or you can have each thin frame a different color with the white backing and b/w photo.

Love these! Turn Out: I still love it! I didn't buy the brackets from the example (at 11-14 bucks a piece! from Vat19). Instead, I found some heavy duty brackets at Home Depot for about 5 dollars each. I found some cheap but cool looking hardcover books at Savers. I put three up in my living room. I am thrilled with the results!
