I planted some pickling cucumbers this year and i just picked my first two. Going to have to try this way of pickling, SO EASY! (and better for your gut health!)

Green Beans or Asparagus: add a garlic clove and  small, dried red chiles.Mushrooms: White or baby 'bella mushrooms can be pickled in brine into a very tasty appetizer. I like to add black peppercorns and mustard seed as well as a small garlic clove. The mushrooms will float like corks but it has never seemed to be a problem.
