Strawberry Shortcake Kabobs! I made these for Mother's Day dessert and they were a big hit. I ended up using just strawberries cut in half alternating with lemon cake on the kabob skewers, then melted milk chocolate (because I couldn't find white in the store during my visit) over top and popped them in the fridge to cool for 30 mins. Strawberry Shortcake Skewers. Totally going to try these using a batch of Jule's Gluten Free Buttermilk Biscuits. Jule's biscuits, made using her GF flour blend are so delicious, and are perfect for this!
STRAWBERRY SHORYCAKE KABOBS: Ingredients: Biscuit Rounds- 1 can of grands biscuits/ 1 egg white/ 1 tablespoon water/ sugar for sprinkling/ 20 large strawberries, 2 slices per strawberry. Cream- 2 cups heavy cream/ ½ jar marshmallow fluff/ 3 tbsp sugar.
Strawberry shortcake kabobs!! This somehow raises the fun factor, making them easier to serve and perfect for parties. You could even offer up a little chocolate for dipping!
