I love smart people: this is genius. After painting your walls, fill up this pen with paint, and will last years for you to use for touch ups rather than storing bulky cans of paint that you can't remember what they are for or don't have room to keep.

When hanging a picture, put toothpaste on the frame where the nail needs to be, press it against the wall and voila! Put the nail there! Genius! Definitely the quickest idea I've seen yet! :)
