      BROWNIE PIE 11/2 cups granulated sugar1/2 cup all-purpose flour1/3 cup dark chocolate cocoa1/2 cup butter, softened3 large eggs1 teaspoon vanilla extract1/8 teaspoon sea salt1/2 cup dark chocolate or semisweet chocolate morsels1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)1 cup freshly whipped cream (optional) Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Generously grease a 9-inch pie plate or 3 to 4 mini pie plates. Combine sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla and salt in a mixing bowl and beat at medium speed with an electric mixer. Beat in flour and cocoa. Stir in chocolate morsels and walnuts. Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake for 40 minutes (30 to 35 minutes for mini pie plates) or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let cool at least 30 minutes before slicing. Serve topped with whipped cream, if desired.
