Eyeliner. Notice how there's a hint of blue on her lower lids...and she has blue eyes. Traditionally you go opposite in eye makeup colors (blue eyes get neutral colors, brown gets jewel tones), but I have blue eyes and do this on occasion. It really makes them pop!
Classic and Simple Smokey Eye: Neutral cream base for lid and brow bone. Gray for crease, be sure to blend well. Add second darker gray or black to add depth to crease, again blend well. Line the eye with a black liquid or pot liner. Finish with a dusting of highlighter and line inner rims with a white pencil. This look has some glitter thrown in as well. Fin!
Pearly- Fill bronze shadow lightly in the crease, making sure to fade out before you hit just below the browline. Apply pearl shadow with the most shimmer across entire lid area making sure to concentrate in the inner corner of the eye. Skip liner, but apply one coat of mascara on only mid and outer lashes. (both top and bottom)
DIY: Follow McGrath’s perfect-skin protocol: a layer of moisturizer, then allover foundation. Next, a concealer to camouflage blemishes, followed with “highlighter on the brow bone, a little bit on the cheekbones, and white eyeliner on the inside corner of eyes,” McGrath says. Finish with mattifying powder on the T-zone. Pair with POWER LASHEs
