Cleaning with Cream of Tartar

Cleaning with cream of tartar. There are wonderful household cleaners you can make without using lots of chemicals. There are some great sounding ideas, but I haven't tried them, so I cannot say if they all work in equal measure. Also, I think you might want to buy in bulk if you were going to use cream of tartar this way.

Use Vinegar and Baking Soda to Recharge Your Towels

Pinner says: Over time, towels build up detergent and fabric softener, leaving them unable to absorb as much water and smelling funky. Recharge them by washing them once with hot water and one cup vinegar, then a second time with hot water and half cup baking soda. This strips the residue and leaves them fresh and able to absorb more water again. Works like a charm!
