Start the year with an empty jar and fill it with notes about good things that happen. Then, on New Years Eve, empty it and see what awesome stuff happened that year. Good way to keep things in perspective.
"Blessings Jar"- Fill the jar with all of the ways that God has blessed you and your family, then every year at thanksgiving pull out the papers and display so you can truly remember what you are thankful for.
