plant marker: stamped spoons as plant markers, 36 piece set of stamps available at www.harborfreight... for about nine dollars

Twig Plant Marker How-To 1. Gather small branches, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch around, in an easily worked but sturdy wood, such as maple. 2. With a vegetable peeler, strip a couple of inches of bark at one end, making a flat surface, and use permanent marker [or stamps + ink] to record the name. Note: If the wood is green and oozing sap, let it dry overnight before writing.

Veggie garden labels from old forks and tin can lids. Brilliant!

Looks like decoupage on spoons plant markers or just art for the garden!

aluminum tape garden markers via dollar store crafts...a really good and inexpensive idea.

I am repinning this idea...I made these last year for my garden and they turned out great! I went to Walmart and bought their cheapest spoons (they were also on clearance at the time) for about 50 cents each. I bought the metal punching kit on Amazon for less than 10 dollars and had a blast making all the plant stakes for my garden. I rubbed a little stain on the letters to make them show up better. Love this idea!
