This stuff is incredible - one cheap natural product that freshens/deodorizes carpets, but deters pests, removes stains, deodorizes garbages and cleans up urine and vomit killing the bacteria too! What a homemade recipe and incredible product to easily and quickly make to have on hand!
We love white distilled vinegar. We don't love the way it smells. But we love it. It's pretty cheap, it's non-toxic, environmentally-friendly, and you can use it to do (literally) like a thousand things in your home.
Homemade face wipes. Just made these and I love them! I put coconut oil, a little astringent, and a bit of face soap I had stopped using. They work beautifully! Pulled off all my makeup like a charm. I'm going to make the antibacterial wipes now with vinegar, antibacterial soap and a little bleach and see how they work out. So excited!
Baking Soda and Peroxide: Put 1/4 cup of baking soda in a bowl, add enough peroxide to make a paste. Rub on with fingers or sponge. Cleans EVERYTHING! Stove, oven, pans, stainless steel applicances, even the white handles of the refrig door.
I boiled 2 c water and dissolved the dry ingredients with the Dawn (in a large glass measuring cup apparently I learned from earlier experience today). When cooled slightly, I poured it into my plastic bottle and added 2 c tap water and shook it. If you used 1/2 c for the original recipe, this would only require 1/8 c and would take up 75% less space on my shelf.
