Candy Land Party: lollipop forest, made from PVC pipes and colorful plastic plates, covered in clear wrap. We stuck them in differs sized cardboard boxes that were covered in green wrapping paper. Added lights and green gift straw for coolness and texture. Charlie the cat approved of the set up.

Honey Lollipops -  Makes 1 doz  1 cup sugar  1 cup honey  2/3 cup light corn syrup  Flax seeds optional  1. Prepare an ice water bath & set aside.  2. Combine sugar, corn syrup and 1/4 cup of water, boil in saucepan, stir until sugar dissolves.   3. After about 5 minutes or so (candy thermometer 300 - 310 deg).  4. Quickly set pan in the ice-bath water to stop the cooking & sit about 20 sec.   5. Pour syrup into candy molds, press in sticks.   6. Let harden and cool.

I love it when a Pinterest project works! Preheat your oven to 350°, use parchment paper or lightly spray a cookie sheet. Place candy canes on cookie sheet on each side of a lollipop stick to form a heart. Bake for 3 to 5 minutes, just until candy is pliable. Carefully pinch end of candy canes together onto lollipop stick. Let harden. Microwave white chocolate in a bowl and spoon into the middle of candy canes. Shake colored sprinkles onto middle of lollipops. Set cookie sheet in fridge…

lollipop topiary  i thought i would share one of the projects i just finished up for ella's party today...it's a lollipop topiary! :)  i love that it's all candy, and bright colors!  ella's eyes light up everytime she looks at it! :)
