This candle holder, or vase, is so easy and looks like it would be fun and fast to make. Get a clear, tall glass vase. Place rubber band around it, forming the design that you want on the vase. Spray paint the whole vase covering the rubberbands. After you let the paint dry remove the rubber bands you should have very clear distinct lines! I really like the look of this light silver. rubberband.jpg (467×700)

The vases I made for my Pay it Forward 2012 - easy to do All I did was use rubber bands and a *GLASS* spray paint to frost them. Inexpensive, easy and a really great finish.

1. Spray paint with a color. Let dry. 2. Wrap in rubber bands. 3 Spray paint again with a second color. 4. Let dry and remove bands!

With l.e.d. tealights you could still put flowers in them! I'll bet it would work with cut-off wine bottles too.
