Historic Chicago mansion: Sprawling over five acres, the estate has seen its fair share of drama since being built in 1915. It was originally a gift from John Sheed (of the Marshall Field fortune) to his daughter Laura on the occasion of her wedding to Charles Schweppe. Not bad for a wedding present.
