Add wainscoting a bit higher than half way up from the floor, add a mantle style shelf and brackets - LOVE IT! Great in a family room, entry hall, bedroom, bathroom.

Like the double panel look. The wainscoting is built up with a painted 1/2" MDF (medium density fiberboard) base and the stiles and rails (verticals and horizontals) are 5/8" painted poplar.
