Only read nine of these so far. I think The Glass Castle is next, thanks to my wonderful sister-in-law who is the perfect person to recommend a book. I wish I had her in my classroom to cater to the continual requests for good recommendations in the genre of (fill in the blank).

40 Books Every Child Should Read - I would agree with most of these but I fully believe there are many more than just 40 that should be read before adulthood, and then read again ever so often just to keep in touch with that inner child!
