Curious! Would this work for 2nd graders? Weekly Morning Message - Use one morning message per week to teach grammar. Monday: Correct mistakes. Tuesday-Thursday, find vowel patterns, punctuation, contractions, compound words, parts of speech, etc. Friday: Circle the parts of a friendly letter.

This friendly letter song would be a fantastic way to teach these skills and would fit with the habitat unit when students write a letter to an animal asking about its home.

Good visual but I would put the correct names on the fingers (heading, greeting, body, closing, signature).
