Being needed gives kids a healthy sense of significance and purpose. Give them jobs that if not done will result in consequences for other people. As much as possible, set up systems and structures that truly depend on the child's participation. Train your childe that we're blessed to be a blessing.

Furthermore, you think they shouldn't have children because of a comment they left on a pin? I hope you recognize how hypocritical and judgmental that is. Susie, I hope you don't teach your children the same tactlessness and narrow-mindedness your comment demonstrates.
