Oh, I've known quite a few people like this. They can't come right out and say anything either, so they ever so subtly step on your toes with snide remarks and insults, and then when you call them out on it, they feign innocence/hurt feelings and make you look like a bad guy to those ignorant enough to believe them. The best thing I ever did, was walk away from it.
You have to get hurt. That’s how you learn. The strongest people out there, the ones who laugh the hardest with a genuine smile, those are the people who have fought the toughest battles. Because they’ve decided that they’re not going to let anything hold them down, they’re showing the world who’s the boss.
The most inspirational people I have met have endured the most. I'm not sure if we are meant to make sense of the pain, and I really don't believe that any amount of suffering 'makes sense', but making sense of the pain is sometimes our only comfort.
