Pilgrim Hat Cookies: I 1st found this recipe about 5 years ago in one of those 5" x 7" cookbooks you see at the checkout line in a grocery store. I made them with my daughter to bring to grandma's house for Thanksgiving dinner. Recipes like this are a great way to introduce your kids to cooking and following recipes. They're cute, the kids get a kick out of them and they taste good.

Turkey Army! Guess this might be the Thanksgiving cupcake of the year, like the owl was for Halloween... :)

Rustic Thanksgiving Dinner ~ I think this is the theme I am going with this year. I love hosting our family holidays!

Candy turkey. Stick candy corn into the center of one oreo for feathers, and using icing, glue that oreo (with the feathers on top) to another oreo. Stick on a reeses peanut butter cup (with a slice taken off so it sits right), a whopper (for his head), and the white tip of a candy corn (for his nose). Using colored icing add eyes, a gobbler, and feet.
