Country Life...just need some dairy cows to go with those milk cans!

A pair of geese was a prize wedding gift in pioneer days. The geese would give you eggs and be great watch dogs. (They set off a great fuss whenever strangers come around.) When necessary they could be killed to provide meat for the table & feathers for pillows or a mattress.

We had bantam chickens at home when we were growing up. Loved the different colors of eggs. CH

Country life--so thankful to have grown up a country girl and be married to my own good ole boy. Jackson and Lilly are our little cowboy and cowgirl!

Love going to Chappell Hill for the Bluebonnet festival in April and the Scarecrow festival in October.

Maybe something similar to this for a wedding announcement, maybe even a baby announcement? Possibly place little boots and another pair of adult boots to announce the arrival of a little one. Just being creative tonight. ☺
