I like protein bars because they are portable, quick, and will hold you over until you get a chance to eat your next meal. The only problem that I have with so many protein bars is that they really are nothing more than a glorified candy bar. They tend to either have tons of artificial ingredient or they are loaded with sugar and calories. On my quest to make my own bars, I knew they had to be tasty, portable, peanut butter, have less than 200 calories, and more than 10 grams of protein per bar. This recipe meets all of these requirements! Score!
