Rewarding kids with things they get to do instead of things they get to have. When they do something good, they pick from the jar and get things like to stay up a little later or play outside a little longer etc. Cute idea!

This is used for rewards in class. I like the idea of colored ping pong balls with rewards on them. You could spray paint the white ping pong balls.

Good Idea for when I have kids:)

After the kiddos are done their regular chores they can pick a "work for hire" job to get money. so while I like this idea, the jobs listed ARE my kids regular chores.

Wish I would have discovered this idea 14 years ago! Trace their hand every first day of school . . . This will make me cry!

The Bored Jar. A mix of fun activities and chores. When the dreaded words are uttered, kids pick a paper and do whatever is on it. Good or bad.

Love this idea: bored jar: if a kid complains of boredom they have to pick a slip & do the activity, good or bad. it might be going for ice cream, it might be cleaning their room. This would even be good for adults! I want a bored jar!

The kids can pick what they want to do and earn as much money as they choose - Dave Ramsey talks about this. When they are old enough!

Chore Sticks - As soon as the kiddos get home from school, they grab their jar & get to work on their chores. {Their “chores” also include things like eating a snack, homework, reading along with the usual chores like cleaning your room, putting your clothes away, etc…}I like to have them complete all their chores before dinner.

Yet another example of parenting done right.

This mom who still knows how to have fun and 23 other people who are really nailing this parenting thing. ** This would be a fun thing to do on the boys last day of school **

For chores

Chore Pins/Magnets- Kids choose the job and how much it's worth. At the end of the week, total amount is how much allowance they receive. ** giving kids options on chores/allowance and teaching about money!

I kind of need one of these for every single day of my life

Clobber the Clutter with Kids by Mom Kat - "1) Get Organized! When a child knows where things go they are more likely to put it back. 2) Rules to Play by: One of the best rules that parents can learn from school, preschool, or daycare environments is the "one toy at a time" rule. 3) Make Cleaning Up a Game!" - ADD freeSources http://www.pinterest.com/addfreesources/ (Note: This chart isn't printable, but I found some using the Search option. - Chore charts, picture, and printables)
