Pho n. pronounced "fah." Meaning Asian comfort food at it's best :) It is actually Vietnamese noodle soup, usually served with beef or chicken, rice noodles, broth with cilantro and thinly sliced onions; is often served with Asian basil, jalepenos, lime, and bean sprouts that are added to the soup by the diner. Also added may be Hoisin and/or Sriracha.
Vietnamese Pho - You get a broth soup with rice noodles and your choice of meat (such as rare beef, shrimp, flank, etc) or vegetable. Then there is a plate on the side filled with things you can toss in including bean sprouts, herbs, onions, sauces, lime, and spice. --> Super nom.
