Explore Wassily Lounge, Wassily Chair, and more!

One of the most iconic chairs in history! Marcel Breuer's Wassily Chair designed in 1925

Lilly Reich (1885-1947).

Designed in 1925 by Marcel Breuer, the Wassily was revolutionary for the manufacturing methods and innovative use of bent steel tubes and canvas. First chair made of steel tubing. Chair named after a teacher at the Bauhaus design school, father of abstract art, Wassily Kandinsky.
