DIY: waxed leaves... Make sure your leaves are completely dry. Melt some beeswax in a double-boiler. You can use new wax or old candle stubs (optional - add a few drops of cinnamon oil). When the wax is thoroughly melted, take the leaves by the stem and immerse them, one at a time, in the wax. Hold them over the pot to drip a bit, then lay them on waxed paper to dry.

Love fall leaves. Will try this with red leaves from my Japanese Maple. "WAXED LEAVES HOW TO... Make sure leaves are completely dry. Melt beeswax in a double-boiler. Or use new wax or old candle stubs (optional - add few drops cinnamon oil). When wax is melted, take the leaves by the stem and immerse them, one at a time, in the wax. Hold them over the pot to drip a bit, then lay them on waxed paper to dry. Can be sprinkled lightly with glitter after dipping." Sounds so pretty!

I think it would be best to use fake leaves from your craft store, cover them in glue, and then put glitter on. This way they won't break and will last for years to come.
