Beatrice Wood, ceramic artist, did her best work after the age of 68. She passed away at 105. Her autobiography is titled "I Shock Myself."

"My life is full of mistakes.They're like pebbles that make a good road," said ceramic artist Beatrice Wood. She worked on a potter's wheel every day until she was 103, and died at age 105.
