Doggy shower in the garage. Also for muddy children... this is going to be a must have if i ever build a house!!

Laundry room with doggie shower - I'd do this in a mudroom and use it to wash up kiddos before they entered the rest of the house.

Installing an outdoor shower like the one shown here is bound to make your pet happier than plopping them in a tub. This outdoor pet shower is also perfect for those living in a warmer climate.

something like this will one day be found in the mud room of my house... ((built in dog shower! - also useful for kids or muddy feet!))

This shower basin could be used to wash mud off boots, or clean the family pet. Although it's shown in the laundry area, it could also be housed in a mud room area.

Install a shower basin and floor drain in your mudroom to collect wet footwear. Add a wall faucet and flexible hose attachment for rinsing off mud and debris. (It's also handy for a quick pet bath.) And don't forget to include a fold-down bench for putting on shoes or stacking a few cleanup towels.

I'm pinning this because it actually takes into account what the chore of washing a dog is like. The raised shower floor means you (the cleaner) do not have to break your back as you carry out the routine dog cleaning. I think for each area and task...how you feel is important...here for example, you may want a toe space like the cupboards have so you can step a little closer without discomfort.

Perfect for a mud room if we ever get big dogs...could add an area for their beds as well

one day when we finally re-do our basement laundry area, i want a laundry room with lots of storage, counter space and a shower for chad to wash off after he gets grassy and stinky outside. and i want it to be totally gorgeous. that is all. :)
