    Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles Recipe. Lately I have been surprised to learn that not everyone is familiar with the Snickerdoodle. Last week I made some for my brother - it is his favorite cookie - and took them to a get-together at his family's home. A young guest in his twenties had never had a Snickerdoodle. He said it was the best cookie he had ever eaten. He was a very polite person, so maybe he was just being nice, but was eating ten of them merely a matter of etiquette?

    Gluten Free Snickerdoodle recipe - my alterations 3/4 c almond meal, 1/4 c. cornstarch, 3/4 c. reg gluten free flour, dash of nutmeg, 1 t. vanilla, 1/2 t. each soda powder, 1 1/4 t. Xanthan gum. Basically, this replaces the flour mixture. Popped into freezer for a few minutes before baking.

    Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles @ allrecipes. These are really good. I made two changes to the recipe. I upped the cinnamon/sugar mixture that you roll the dough in to 1 Tblsp. ground cinnamon to 3 Tblsp. sugar and I baked the cookies at 350* for 9 minutes in my convection oven.
