The scene in this picture, of a person drowning, is similar to Ophelia's death. However, it is controversial to say that Ophelia tried to save herself from drowning, so the reaching hands in this picture could be a difference. This could also represent Ophelia drowning in the sorrows and madness that she experienced because of her troublesome relationship with Hamlet and also her father's death.

The truth is you can't try to let go. Trying is the opposite of letting go. To let go is to relinquish trying. To let go, is much more like to let be. | Adyashanti

"It is so much simpler to bury reality than it is to dispose of dreams" -Don DeLillo

I was just lying there, too numb to realize that I was freezing and too tired to realize I was in water. I couldn't remember how to move, how to get up. I had this hollow feeling in my chest, a black hole that was devouring every good thing I had been. And beyond my head was a paper boat, one of the boats he had made me. It sailed away on ripples that were coming from my shivering body.
