My neighbor's house always had the clearest windows EVER! One day I helped her with some spring-cleaning. She didn't use a single paper towel or commercial cleaner but mixed 2 cups hot water with ¼ cup vinegar & 1 TBS of cornstarch, shook in spray bottle & spritzed the windows, then wiped down w/ crumpled newspaper. Unlike paper or cloth towels, newspaper is absorbent without leaving lint behind. This homemade window wash solution w/ newspaper works like NOTHING else for PERFECTLY CLEAR windows!
Must try: How to get your dirty whites clean again... HOT HOT HOT water, 1 cap of laundry detergent, 1 cup powdered dish washer detergent, 1 cup bleach, 1/2 cup borax. Tell you what, you have to rewash it once to put softener in but it's the whitest you'll ever see your whites. If you omit the bleach it works great to get stains out of colors too (baby spit up is no longer a stain on OLD clothes)

How to Clean a Tub - So I cleaned my tub as I would normally would. Then I cleaned it as directed on this site and wow I could still see all the grime come off as I cleaned it this way. I know how to clean my tub now! Stocking up on vinegar (and not just for salads and pickles)!*
Ta-da! What a big difference! Are your kitchen cabinets looking like my 'before pic'? If so, here is an easy & quick fix - Mix 3/4 cup canola oil & 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar in a jar and shake well. Rub the oil mixture onto the cabinets w/a rag (I used an old T-shirt), then wipe with another clean rag!
