Knuffle Bunny by Mo Willems. This would be a good book for early readers. Students could use this book to come up with their own story, since this book tells a story of something that they might be able to relate to.

Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale

I like the black and white city pictures with the cartoon characters on it. It makes it feel like a realistic fiction book. I’ve never seen book illustrations with photos and drawings together like this. It is really neat. I think everybody will like this book because it is about a little kid and because it has a stuffed animal in it. (best for ages 3 -5) Review by Lucy H., age 6, Tampa Bay Mensa
