Inspired by one of nature’s original architectural elements, the bird nest, the Eyrie Chair is an ode to both natural construction and organic material. The branch supports were meticulously chosen to mimic the shape of the natural structure and the nest seat is made of steam-bended ash.
The ‘bOne’ Chair is a creative seat inspired by the human body and designed by Björn Ischi. Ischi’s chair features large holes that can be filled with soft upholstery. The chair itself is meant to mimic the human skeletal system, while the upholstery filling doubles as skin cells.
Seriously, Ombre furniture--ah-mazing! As an interior designer, what I like about this trend for furniture is that it's a painted piece that doesn't look whimsical or cute. Painted pieces certainly have their place in design, but I could design a modern or urban room around this baby! Love it!
