I am LOVING this idea. Frame an old family recipe and use it as kitchen art. One of grandma's old recipes would be great.

Old family recipes in weathered frames from Hobby Lobby; burlap stretched across the back and recipes are just tacked on top (like the look of the gallery wall in general). -EmilyaClark.com

Great hood over stove, and with deep, to the ceiling, cabinets. Subway tile in pattern back of stove. All white, of course. Makes a strong, vertical focal point.

This is what we will do above the cabinets because of the air handlers. I do like the white, but light grey would be nice and would probably make the cabinets look taller

Like the gray painted cabinet look. Great alternative paint color for cabinets instead of painting them white, black or staining them.
