This unusual recipe makes a delicious and refreshing beverage which makes a wonderful pick-me-up at any time. You can serve it as an appetizer or a dessert, or simply a flavorful drink for the mid-morning or mid-afternoon when you fancy something to accompany a cookie or slice of cake. This rhubarb drink is made in two parts. First there is a stewed rhubarb layer and then there is a lemon, rosemary, and rhubarb liquid which is made as a syrup and diluted with soda water.
AMERICANO. 3 tablespoons Campari, 1 1/2tablespoons Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth, 1 1/2 tablespoons Cinzano Rosso Vermouth, Club soda,1 orange twist &/or lemon wedge. Fill a highball glass with ice. Add Campari and Vermouths. Top with club soda & garnish with an orange twist or lemon wedge, or both. Serve with a straw.
Coconut Cake Martini. 1 part Cake-Flavored Vodka 3 parts Coconut Water 1 tbsp Coco Lopez (optional and will add more calories!) Shake with ice Optional: Trace rim of martini glass with a finger-full of honey and dip into a plate of sweetened coconut for a pretty presentation.
