@Tammy Tarng make thisbyour next project.. was old door - now kitchen island Great idea for using these terrific old, and very historical old doors. I have done this many times. As a matter of fact my kitchen table is made of an old door and I have a coffee table made of and old door. I love them!!

Like this Kitchen island. Old door that has been clear coated, glass cut for about $70 dollars to fit overtop the door! So cute, so cheap and easy LOVE IT .... You can use a door from your first house too so it has meaning :)

using the reclaimed wood idea for kitchen islands instead of tables... antique door + tempered glass = awesome kitchen island!! LAURA: We have several doors on the South side of the house that we could paint and make look older and then add wood or metal legs.

Old door table! Love this idea, especially with a pc of glass overtop!

Old door - new table. Simply changing the orientation of this household staple opens the doors to a variety of refurbished furniture ideas.

this is an old door cut in half. Possible vanity table in a spare bedroom or maybe even a diy vanity for the bathroom & do a sink that sits on top...

I love this but i would put a cool shelf that follows the line from the top of the doorway, across the room (on the wall with the stove). It would come down at a sharp angle and then have horizontal shelving with asymmetric end points. It's cool in my head.

Love the island, industrial lights, and the white tile backsplash... and of course every kitchen should have a tv :)

I made the desk I am sitting at as I type, from an old Galveston door. It's my favorite piece of furniture in my house right now! The legs are old wooden stairway banisters!
