If it was a must...Bunk beds done right . . . I like that top bunk has it's own window and they are very spacious - no chance of feeling claustrophobic on either.

.great built-in bunks // kids room. Would be a good idea for extra space in basement, especially for sleep overs.

This image is giving me some new ideas. Liking the elevated bed and added storage. The raised surface looks to be 10"-12" inches wider than the mattress.

imagine the lower bunk with one more drawer below, a little ladder, and higher side rails. This is Alden's new bed(sans the upper bunk) to make room for baby girl!

Going to need to do this for Emmetts room when my dtr moves back to her house. Emmett is such a lucky boy to have three set's of grandparents that love him and are active in his life. No my daughter does not "pawn" him off. We just can't get enough of this silly lovable boy and are very lucky his momma keeps the communication open with all of us and shares. Life is better with Emmett in it.

How cool is this?! Maybe when they get older and if they still want to share a room, Daddy can build it!
