5-Star*****Carnitas..this smells unbelievable in the CROCKPOT. It is So directions carefully-uses a 4-5lb. pork shoulder or butt, but once you shred it and remove most of the fat, its enough for a meal with leftovers, even better the next day! My daughter asks for this...and brings friends!

I make this with a pork roast. It is the BEST! Beyond easy and the broth from cooking down the roast was too devine to toss. I took the juices, skimmed off some of the fat added a little salt, northern beans, water and the cilantro lime rice leftover from our carnitas soft tacos to make the best soup for lunch the next day. CRAZY GOOD!
