Drive In re-post'
Drive In Movie, 60 S, Childhood Memories, Drive Ins, 1950 S, Memory Lane, Fast Food
♡ Are you lucky enough to remember when carhops brought your tray out like this, Friday night at the Drive-in Movie?♡
Fast Food Drive in - A car hop would bring your order on a tray that clipped on the car window. Love the mustard and catsup bottles; so much better than individual packets, which also wastes far too much plastic.
Drive In Movies. So much fun, no one cared that the speakers never worked well. Sleeping bags in the back of the station wagon... good times.
Coke, being served at the AW Root Beer, Stand, the car hop, waitress, would take your order, and bring your food and drinks, out to your car, and the tray, attached to your door. To the Original Pinner: this is a Drive In Movie Theater.....see the Speaker?
One of my favorite parts of going to the drive-in movies. Food was brought out to you by a "car hop"
The car, the drive in restaurants, the whole thing. My first job was a car hop in our small town.
Fast Food Drive in - A car hop would bring your order on a tray that clipped on the car window.
Car Hop. We did a lot of this way back in the 60's at Superdawg Drive-In!!
DRIVE INS- i so miss that! always a good childhood memory at A!
Row of Phone Booths
College Dorm, Cell Phone, Vintage Phone, Telephone Booth, Phonebooth
Phone Booths - There was just "something" about a telephone booth. You could shut the door, have a seat and make a phone call in peace, comfort and privacy. And you could actually hear the other person on the other end of the line perfectly, and you didn't have to shout into it to be heard over the street noise.
Row of Phone Booths--now you can't find just one anywhere; no need as everyone has their own cell phone
Row of Phone Booths, oh, the good ole days of college dorms lol :)

I think my Mom owned just about every Tupperware piece there was made in the 70s in all their colors. She even got toys from Tupperware (the shape sorter ball was my favorite). She used to host Tupperware parties in our home, too (who didn't!). I love Tupperware, but it is too expensive to buy now. I look for good pieces at yard sales and in thrift stores :)

In fact, I’m lucky to live near a place where these are still being used – the Drive-In movie theater. The antique looking speakers are still in position at one of the few drive-in theaters we have left in Minnesota.
