Jeanette Walls tells the story of her grandmother's adventurous life...what a life!

Half Broken Horses- can't wait to read this one! Jeanette Walls is one of my favorite authors. The Glass Castle is one of my favorite books and sure this one will be too!

after you've read Glass Castles, read the backstory "Half Broke Horses". a real story about life out west in the 20s and 30s, and how could Jeannette Walls' mother turn out as she did?

I loved Jeannette Walls' first novel, The Glass House and Half Broke Horses did not disappoint. Walls writing style is flawless and story telling superb. This story is based on truths about her own grandmother struggling and succeeding to thrive in the early part of the 20th century.

Winter Garden by Kristen Hannah I loved it, but be ready to cry your eyes out. Another story about Russia.

The Glass Castle ♥ One of my favorite books of all time. Definitely the best (true) memoir I have ever read.
