Building this pointing to place like Italy, Lake House, The Moon... All of these refer to great books - worth reading. This would be cool in a garden or backyard for children.

I would love to visit every one of these places. :) Every single great book is in this picture: The Wizard of Oz, Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, The Wind in the Willows, and Peter Rabbit. How fun would it be to design a kid's playroom with this idea!? Or put it up in a library? ;)

Fantastic garden sign that directs you to places in famous children's book. Lovely idea, especially if you have children that love to read.

We were going to make a sign like this once for the backyard. With mileage to our favorite places. Book locations are a great idea too.

Some of the places I've always longed to escape to...Imagination is one of the most powerful tools, I'm so thankful that books offer the opportunity to escape to magical worlds and vividly experience the make-believe. My childhood has been richer for it and my imagination that was cultivated in my early years, continues to take me places. (info from previous pinner) GRS says: Yes, I DO believe, in all of it.

Love this. Not sure how to cut that grass between the fire pit and bench, but that'll be the least of my worries.

I'm not a big fan of hills in a landscape let alone a backyard but I like how they made something out of it here...
